Little Red Church
St. Charles Borromeo

First constructed of logs about 1740. Burned and rebuilt, 1806. Famous riverboat landmark, 25 miles from New Orleans where boat captains traditionally paid off their crews. Again burned and rebuilt about 1921.

Located in Destrehan, District 2, Hwy 48, Jefferson Parish. 133
