Russellville

350 yards east. Site of parish seat of Claiborne Parish from soon after the parish’s creation in 1828 until 1836. Named for Samuel Russell, who donated the land. First parish courthouse and jail constructed here.

Located in Athens, District 4, Claiborne Parish. 259
