State Historical Marker








Tezcuco Plantation

Built in 1855 by Benjamin F. Tureaud, kinsman of Bringier family. Constructed of homemade red brick and Louisiana Cypress. Purchased in 1888 by Dr. Julian T. Bringier. Retained by relatives until 1940s.

Located between Burnside and Gramercy, District 2, Convent (River Road), St. James Parish. 207
