Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, son of John and Mary Flower.
1774-1782
Resident of the Manchac area.
1777
June 14
Marries Mary Carpenter daughter of Richard Carpenter.
1790
Establishes a plantation in the Feliciana District of Spanish West Florida.
1792
Moves to the Natchez District where he qualifies as a surgeon and attend's Governor Gayoso's wife in 1796 as the only surgeon in the area.
1814
Dies and is interred on Greenwood Plantation, West Feliciana Parish.
